Circle T Ranch Riding Stables is outdoor recreation and family fun at its finest! With both individual and group lessons, and gentle, trustworthy horses, we customize your ride to fit your comfort and experience level. There is something for everyone! With over 30 years of experience for boarding, lessons, events, and camps, we are the premier location in Kings County for the equine experience you have always wanted. Here at Circle T Ranch, there is always a magical moment waiting to happen.
The moment you come through our gates and drive down our tree lined entrance, you will notice our attention to detail and quality facility from the clean, manicured grounds, top quality fencing, and exquisitely cared for animals.
Our year-round green pastures provide ample grazing opportunities for our horses, and the abundance of mature trees offer shade for the horses in the hot summer months. Our large, individual turn out pens provide you with alternate turn-out options, each with its own sunshade and automatic water trough. We have outstanding footing in our 2 arenas, individual tack lockers, a 1/4-mile sand track and an arena with lights for evening enjoyment.
Meet Denise Taylor
Owner/Operator of Circle T Ranch, and Chairperson New Beginnings at Circle T Ranch
Denise has always had a passion for horses and has owned and operated Circle T Ranch for 33 years. It is the premier full service equestrian facility in Kings County, California, offering boarding, lessons in multiple disciplines, and trail rides. Denise is the Lead Riding Instructor.
Married to a retired Navy F/A-18 pilot, Denise was interested in helping veterans cope with a multitude of hardships, including many who had suffered severe psychological trauma to include PTSD and substance abuse.
Two years ago, Denise and her husband founded New Beginnings at Circle T Ranch, a nonprofit corporation for the benefit of people enduring significant suffering. Denise became certified in Equine Assisted Therapy and has actively been guiding therapy participants in what has become a wonderfully successful method of helping people find peace and identify healthy coping mechanisms as they learn to conquer their obstacles and significant challenges. In looking back at her 33 years of giving riding lessons, she realized much of what she guided clients through all those years was actually Equine Therapy.
Denise’s depth of knowledge of all thing’s horses, coupled with her compassion and drive to make a positive difference for those in her community have enabled New Beginnings at Circle T Ranch to become a successful Equine Learning and Activities facility. She has guided over 100 participants to better lives, and conducts team building events for businesses, as well as professional and social groups with Equine Therapy the catalyst for positive results.
